Removable dentures.

Modern removable laminar denture (except clasp dental prosthesis) is not fundamentally different from the old one. It has the same appearance as the grandmother's old prosthetics. The difference is that you don't have to put your laminar denture in water for the night. Nowadays new plastic, mold and shade guides, etc. have appeared. Plastic is not just pink any more, it has false blood and capillary vessels inserted into them. False teeth are imported from all the developed countries and are much more attractive than domestically produced dentures. If you have good strong abutment teeth, it is possible to cast the clasps, which will firmly fix the denture. Thus you will get a combination of laminar and clasp dentures.

Clasp dentures

Clasp dentures are fundamentally different from removable laminar dentures. In fact, the only thing they have in common is the fact that both can be removed and put on. Instead of a massive, covering most of the jaw, plastic base clasp dentures have a delicate filigree metal casting, and supporting and retaining clasps of clasp dentures can be firmly fixed to a clasp crown, or to natural teeth. Thus, clasp dentures can be fixed better, take up less space in your mouth and, therefore, are more convenient than laminar dentures.

A traditional clasp denture requires several stable abutment teeth, otherwise there will be nothing for the clasps to cling to. This allows us to get rid of the massive plastic base, which is designed to carry and support the suction function. But this could become possible only by overloading abutment teeth, which in this case experience an increased load, so they must be chosen very carefully and, if possible, we try not to overload them too much.

Technological progress has changed clasp dentures beyond recognition. With the advent of precision casting there are no limits to the dentists' fantasies. Modern orthopedic dentists can offer the clasps, which allow firm fixing of the denture as well as getting rid of the hooks we all hate so much, which give the owner of a removable denture right away. The increased number of modifications makes it difficult even for an expert to be really well-versed in this sphere. Clasp denture is beautiful, comfortable, but difficult to fabricate, so, naturally, expensive!

Crowns, bridges.

Dental crowns are the "caps" that imitate the tooth's shape. Dental crowns cap and encircle teeth, reconstructing their shape, size and durability, making them look more attractive. The crowns are bonded to the tooth using dental cement, hiding the visible part of the tooth below and above the gum line.

Zirconium dioxide.

Advanced zirconium-based crowns are taking place of ordinary metal and porcelain crowns. The advantage of this combination is natural translucency of the crown, which makes it possible to successfully copy a natural tooth. Zirconium dioxide is rightfully called white gold in dentistry, because such crowns are biocompatible with mouth tissues.
